I have got to say that the week that we went on this last minute trip was probably the worst time to go. Well due to the terrible pre-monsoon weather it was hot, sticky and just the kind of weather you want to be in during your only vacation of the summer(haha not). Like I said, it was a pretty last minute planning to go so couldn't really consider the weather during that. Other than the weather, it was a great time with the family. We never really get to explore Korea other than Seoul so it was something adventurous for us.

Always nice to go for a few round of drinks around Itaewon. Right before the bad weather hit Korea a few weeks ago, a friend and I got to enjoy a great Friday afternoon bar hopping in Itaewon. One of the places that we went to was a popular pub & grill called Prost. They have some unique types of beer that they brew which was okay.

Last Friday, I was lucky to have a day off from my summer job! So my sister took me to Samchung-dong (삼청동) to explore the area. I've lived in Seoul for almost 5 years and have yet to visit this area. The Samchung area was filled with galleries, chic boutiques and many nice places to eat. It was one of the best days that I had in a long time! I would definately recommend this area for anyone!
